To nurture creative thinking, it’s essential to do plenty of research and put it into practice across different fields. So what do I mean?
With the advancement of technology, we all face countless stimuli in daily life. These often come as notifications from our phones and computers. In fact, sometimes we feel the urge to check even when there’s no notification at all.
Even if we can’t control all these stimuli, we can filter out the parts that are useful to us and use them to generate creative ideas.
For example, by bringing a few stimuli together, we can craft a short story, or use these parameters to produce an image.
What does this give us?
Thanks to these stimuli—each completely independent of the others—we can see how seemingly unrelated parameters can form connections with one another.
